Sneaking In..
02.08.08 (6:30 pm)   [edit]
Hello :) It's been over 2 months since I've posted and for that I'm sorry. Life has been fine really, nothing keeping me from posting, I've just not been in the mood.

One bit of bad news..my little Peanut was hit by a car and killed on January 2. I'd grown to love my little furkid so much that I was truly devastated by it. I still miss him and cry at night when I'm going to sleep. I've always been an animal lover, but I never knew I would bond so quickly with this little guy. He went with me everywhere I could take him. We even dressed him up and took him to all our family functions at Christmas and he was a huge hit! Everyone that met Peanut loved him. I had turned him into my baby. He loved me too.

Seeing how upset and depressed I was, my Father put a deposit down on an unborn puppy, a Yorkie. At first I wasn't thrilled about it. I felt guilty. Now I'm getting a bit eager for the little thing to come home!

She was born January 25. She won't be able to come home until late March or early April. I'll post pictures when she's home.

Our holidays went well. One of my favorite memories of Christmas '07 is Lexy opening a mermaid Barbie I bought for her and saying "Mimi, it's a zacly what I wandded" She's 3, she still has that "cute talk" I love that about her!

Baby bean is growing and Mama is doing well for the time being. (our daughter Kristin and her baby bump) Kristin has been hospitalized 4 times in the last 3 months. She's been so sick and gone into very early labor twice. She isn't due until July. Keep a good thought for her and baby bean.

Tony and I will be married 20 years the 19th of this month. We're taking our annual mini vacation. We're headed to Nashville this year. I've scheduled a couples massage for us :) We have a few other plans but will mostly wing it.

I need to get around to see all my friend's blogs here. I've missed you all. A special shout out to Cutter and ggirl.

And to surrogate, Lori, FinallyFree, FlowerLady, Mimi, Pirate Girl, Emerging and damnit, I know I've forgotten some and I'll be kicking myself for naming names....I've missed you all.

Take Care everyone.

I'm sorry to hear about your little poodle. Small dogs seem to be bolters that will run at the slightest thing.
The new pup will be watched with an eagle eye and a huge chain ;)

Why Thank You Cutter :) What a nice compliment.
I do miss my little buddy, but I know he's at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for me...it's a nice thought anyway and something he deserves.

I kept checking in...so happy to see you back. I just assumed all was going so well that you had absolutely nothing to say.

So sorry about the beloved puppy. I know exactly how you feel. Nothing cures the loss of a love, but a new love helps a little. Take care, dear friend.
